Breast Cancer Initiative East Africa Inc. (BCIEA) is a registered not for profit organization in
Rwanda (2009) and in the United State of America (2007).
Our community outreach education focuses on educating individuals and organizations in both rural and
urban communities about Breast Cancer, risk factors, signs and symptoms, how to carry out self-breast
examination, nutrition and wellness tips, link to medical care for treatment amongst other life saving tips.
Fighting Breast Cancer One Smart Phone per Village
(FBCOSPV) aims at ensuring that the nooks and
crannies of Rwanda have access to easy-to-understand
digital breast health information and self-breast
BCIEA has 30 trained Rwandan women who knit made-in Rwanda prostheses for women who undergo mastectomy to help them overcome body image and gain confidence dealing with after effects of losing breasts.
The Creatively Youth Pink Club is designed for secondary and college students who play a major role in spreading awareness among their
peers, families and the public. College Students
from Rwanda and USA are volunteers and/or
apply to do their Internship with BCIEA. The
club focuses on everything about breast health
