Raise awareness about breast cancer, promote
early detection, and provide on-site screenings
for company staff.

Training presentations, Q&A, and clinical screenings.

Agenda Highlights:
Welcome and objectives overview.
Awareness presentation on breast cancer (signs, myths, risk factors, prevention, etc.).
Demonstration of Breast Self-Examination (BSE).
Screening and individual consultations.
Interactive Q&A.

Duration:
1.5 hours per session.

Results and Impact

Attendance:
Engaged a total of 1878 staff members across 16 sessions.

Screenings Conducted:
497 screenings, with 6 suspicious cases referred for further testing.

Additional and Offers and Opportunities Related to Our Proposed Initiative

On-Site Wellness Programs:
Offer regular free or subsidized screenings for breast cancer and other NCDs.

Educational Resources:
Provide trilingual health education materials (e.g., BCIEA’s “IKUNDE, IMENYE, ISUZUMISHE” posters).

Wellness Champions:
Train staff to promote health awareness within their teams.

Partner with BCIEA:
Sponsor BCIEA campaigns to extend outreach beyond the workplace.

Digital Wellness Portals:
Share health reminders and tips through a digital platform.

The campaign raised awareness and encouraged participants to take proactive steps toward breast health.

Next Steps:
We followed up with the 6 suspicious cases referred them for further testing.
We are expanding workplace campaigns to more organizations.
